NetSys. Hacking... How do you define it compared to the hacking that is in the base game? I mean is it to do with fending one's way through the Deep NET as opposed to the hacking described in the book "hack tech and physically affect your surrounding". When does NetSys Hacking come into play? And do NetSys Apps take regular App slots on a cyberdeck?
I wrote it to simulate system hacking that is more involved than the surface level hacking in the core. And yes, a NetSys focussed App taked a slot, as any App would.
So a hacker doing NetSys isn't required to be on location like the on-site guerilla type hacking describe in the core book? How do you deal with that? I am new to the netrunning thing, and I am confused by the dungeon-crawl (on-site) aspect of it. I thought netrunners can plug in from wherever and still have access to distant nodes... So when would you require your PCs to be present on site, and when not? Would the cyberspace look different then? Sorry, I am always assaulting people with flurries of questions like that, just ignore me if I am a bore to you... I'd understand... :)

It's very fun, with a few tweaks and better explaining (or personal interpretation) of the rules!!!
Glad you like it!
This looks really cool. I haven't had a chance to try it yet, but I'll be sure to have some questions. Hope you don't mind.
